Van Essen Nursery Company was started in 1976 along the South Santiam River near Lebanon, Oregon.
Our mission is to consistently provide quality nursery stock, competitively priced
with personalized and detailed customer service. We are committed to responding
to our customers' needs, being attentive to the ever-changing market trends.
Current size is 300 acres divided evenly between containerized product and field
grown stock.
Products include broadleaf evergreens, deciduous shrubs, conifers, boxwood, rhododendrons and decorative grasses.
Our containers are available in 1, 2, 5 & 7 gallon sizes. Field stock is available in multiple sizes. Our focus is to grow and provide larger sizes to supply the demands of the market as requested by our customers.
Our markets are the Western United States, including the inter-mountain states,
the Midwest, the Northeast, the Southeast, and Canada.
Our customer base consists of re-wholesalers, retailers, and landscapers.
Our propagation department produces over 2.5 million cuttings annually. This supplies 95 percent of our production department's needs. Our production team is dedicated to growing consistent and quality plants. The shipping crew is committed to careful handling.
